TriOpSys is specialised in designing, building and managing mission critical IT systems, which are software systems that may never be offline. Examples of these software systems are traffic management centers (on land, water and in the air), command centers, command and control systems and emergency centers. Our activities are divided into three areas: Traffic Management, Public Safety & Security and Defence & Space.

TriOpSys B.V. was founded in 1998 by three friends: At Hijwegen, Hans Schulz and Rob Timman. Before the start of TriOpSys they had been working together for many years in a similar business. The main reason why they wanted to start a business, was to create a working environment where they themselves would like to work, with technically challenging projects and where quality, integrity and collegiality are of great importance. From the beginning, these values have been the guiding principle, which has resulted in prosperous, successful projects and a steady growth of our company.
Currently we employ approximately 80 people internally at our office in Utrecht and externally at customer sites. TriOpSys is a financially sound and independent company. As a consequence you are assured of a party with whom you will be able to have a long term relationship for all your IT projects. Already, we have proven this point : many companies are long term customers at TriOpSys, some since its founding in 1998.
TriOpSys’ mission, both for its clients and its personnel, is the following:

In practice, this mission translates to a certain way of working and interacting with each other. We are open and honest, both towards clients as personnel and suppliers. This means we tell the story as it is, also when the news might be less than great, or even bad.
Integrity and quality are first and foremost. All documents are reviewed, whether they are letters or tenders, we check each other as normal part of the process. Unsound conduct is not accepted within TriOpSys. We are therefore certified for ISO9001: 2015 and ISO27001. In addition, we carried out various projects for which an ABDO (General Security Requirements for Defense Orders) certification was required. The TriOpSys office is also specially equipped to fill in ABDO requirements.
